Troubleshooting
- "No downloadable video found." The post is private, a document/carousel (not a video), or a reshared YouTube link. Check it in an incognito window.
- "That does not look like a LinkedIn URL." Use the link from Copy link to post — feed URLs with
/feed/update/work too, but partial links and app deep-links don't. - "LinkedIn is limiting anonymous access." LinkedIn rate-limits anonymous traffic in waves. Wait a minute and retry — it usually clears quickly.
- Download link expired. LinkedIn's video URLs are signed and short-lived. If a saved link stops working later, just fetch the post again.

Downloading a public LinkedIn video for personal viewing, research, or education is generally accepted use. The video itself remains the creator’s copyrighted work, so republishing, re-uploading, or using it commercially requires the creator’s permission. When in doubt, ask the creator and credit them — most are happy to say yes.
Do I need a LinkedIn account to download videos?

LinkedIn Live replays work once the stream has ended and the replay is posted publicly. LinkedIn Learning courses do not — they are paid, DRM-protected content, and downloading them outside LinkedIn’s own offline feature is not possible or permitted.
